Brenda Shepherd serves as Customer Service and Human Resource Manager of Indemnity Excess & Surplus Agency.  She is responsible for the Company’s customer service support, office and administrative support, and human resources.

Ms. Shepherd joined IES March 1998, as a part-time receptionist.  She quickly worked her way to full-time status and became a Broker after only being with the Company for two years.  Her strengths have always been her organizational and people skills, which naturally led to her being promoted to her current position with IES.

Prior to joining IES, Ms. Shepherd spent 12 years in the cable industry in positions ranging from Customer Service to Office Manager.

Ms. Shepherd is a licensed Property/Casualty agent in Oregon. She is active in women’s ministries in her church, and enjoys spending time with her family.  She ads, “I am honored to work at IES, and I love what I do!”

Wants to compete on a rowing team in the World Senior Games.

A nurse.
